description: This is the crenellated top of the curtain wall. The crenellations are 4' in height. The thin inner wall facing the bailey is only 2' in height. The center rectangular interiors of the southeast compartments are covered with A-frame, adobe clay tile roofs constructed over a flat, wood sub-roof. The southeast tower and south gatehouse rise approximately ten feet above the curtain wall top.
