Eteris (the Horrid)

Role: Eteris thrives in bringing suffering unto the peoples of the world. Hers is a realm of pain and torment. She relishes in inflicting mental and physical anguish upon those who do not worship her. All manner of parasites, rodents, vermin, and carrion feeders heed the call of Eteris, and it is through these carriers that her plagues are spread throughout the world. Eteris is favored by Sethanit, as the Lord of Evil sees her as an invaluable ally in his fight against Vendaneran and the forces of good. Priests: Priests of the Horrid One are vile personages in their own respect. They are selfish and self-centered, with little regard for other people. They use the powers granted unto them by Eteris to further their own personal power, and to undermine facets of law and goodness throughout the land. Temples: Temples of the Horrid One are usually underground, and are rarely obvious. In goodly lands, her temples are hidden in large cities.
