Role:

Aieridyn is known as the guardian who watches over the creatures of the day when they venture forth into the night. He is symbolized by both the moon and the dawn. To creatures afoot in the night, Aieridyn is the brightly shining star that watches from above, and it is he who ends the dark of night with the coming of the dawn.

Priests:

The clergy of the Watcher are seen as the travellers and wanderers of the night. They are often found in seaports and lake or riverfront settlements, where they may seek to best utilize their navigational skills. Their endeavors are not ignored, for Aieridyn's priests are highly sought after as navigators for ocean-going vessels. It is widely-accepted superstition that Aieridyn watches over such ships with diligent attention, and asks Naultan the Furious to restrain from claiming them with his storms.

Temples:

Places of worship to Aieridyn are always located above ground. Large temples are often found in cities and towns, and smaller temples and shrines abound in smaller settlements and communities. Most of the temples and chapels to the Watcher are stout constructions of wood and stone, and all possess large, open courtyards for ceremonies beneath the full moon.
