description: This massive room encompasses the third floor of the keep. The great hall is the heart of the keep, and is where the castle's ruling lord and family spend the majority of their time. The hall serves all manner of uses. Feasts, dances, dueling, war planning, and the daily routine of the castle are all conducted in the great hall, and the furnishings of the hall change depending upon necessity. The hall contains numerous standing suits of armor, and tapestries, shields and weaponry adorn the walls. Four hearths provide light and heating, and four alcoves on the west wall access wide windows.
