Temple of Motara (the Warrior)
(Temple 002)
Introduction:

This temple to Motara consists of a single building containing two levels and an open courtyard. Four priests can be found here.

Area 001
designation: Main worship chamber.
description: This room is adorned with tapestries, shields and weapons. An altar, hanging censers and sculpted pedestals fill the north wall. Wooden benches line the room, all facing toward the altar. The northern two-thirds of the chamber are open to the ceiling, with an upper balcony in the southern third of the chamber.

Area 002
designation: Hallway.
description: Hallway with two stone staircases, one (staircase A) ascending to the worship hall balcony, and the other (staircase B) ascending to the priests' bedrooms.

Area 003
designation: Storage.
descripton: This room contains crates, barrels, casks and kegs filled with an assortment of foodstuffs, dry provisions and equipment.

Area 004
designation: Armory and practice room.
description: This room contains an array of armor and weapons (no practice weapons).

designation: Open courtyard.
description: This is a training yard, where novices and priests practice their combat skills.
walls: 8' baked brick and mortar.

Area 006
designation: Dining room.
description: This room contains a large, polished wooden dining table, a serving table, highboy and wine rack.

Area 007
designation: Kitchen.
description: This cooking area is meticulously clean and organized.

designation: Balcony.
description: This balcony overlooks the main worship chamber. It contains a number of plush chairs, and is usually reserved for distinguished guests.

Area 009
designation: Priest's office.
description: This is the office of the temple's senior priest. A large desk, bookcase and standing censers fill the room.

description: A single bed, armoire, small table and chest fill this chamber.
