Role:

Olhantam is the greatest of the five elder deities, and is the accepted head of the pantheon. Olhantam created the other elder deities and all of the universe. He is the lord of nature and woodlands, but though concerned with the preservation of nature, he acknowledges the mortal necessity to take from the world. Olhantam emphasizes the proper use of natural resources, and the replacement of what is taken, whenever possible.

Priests:

Olhantam's following are charged to ensure the safety of all woods, and they roam the land to fulfill this obligation. Each priest, upon his ordainment, selects a particular species of vegetation (subject to approval by his superiors), and forever carries the seeds of the plant or tree. It is the priest's responsibility to plant the seeds throughout his travels. Any who excessively or needlessly destroy woodlands, or hunt or trap the animals inhabiting them solely for profit are the sworn enemies of Olhantam, and his priests must strive to stop such actions whenever possible. The singular philosophy taught by Olhantam is that people must live in harmony with their natural surroundings. As Olhantam is the lord of life and creation, his priests wield no power over the supernatural.

Temples:

Temples and shrines of Olhantam are always found in natural, woodland settings. They can be stone or wood buildings, or open meadows, and are nearly always above ground.
