Role:

Jasamai is considered the inspirational source of all magical spells, both commonplace and unique. Jasamai symbolizes magic in all its forms. She created the magical-based creatures of the world, both great and small. It is by her will that magic exists upon all planes of existence. Jasamai is also the goddess of intellect, and promotes intelligent reasoning over physical aggression.

Priests:

Jasamai's priests must always be lawful, but may embrace either goodness or neutrality. They are viewed as the mages of the priesthood, a reputation which has earned them both the respect and disdain of many rival clergies. When not engaged in clerical duties, the priests of Jasamai often spend their days and nights in the libraries of their temples. It is rumored that the temples of the Mage hold copies of all known wizard spells in vaults deep within their confines.

Temples:

Jasamai's chapels and temples are almost always found in cities and large towns, where the clergy can more easily further their scholarly pursuits. The temples are typically large, well-fortified structures.
