Role: Huthunic is a powerful, dangerous deity, often strengthened by the actions of those who do not follow his faith. Torn by unfocused hatred, he is nonetheless a quiet, patient power who relishes the inner turmoil that he stirs in unwitting souls. Many people who would seem unlikely candidates to embrace his philosophies have succumbed to his tenets of hatred, loathing, and revenge, and have thus been brought into his fold. Priests: Furious, rioting crowds fueled by misinformation. False secrets whispered behind closed doors. Murder committed by the hands of an innocent. All this and more is the work of the priests of the Accursed One. Huthunic's clergy are ingenious manipulators and instigators, capable of agitating and worsening volatile situations with explosive results. They masterfully misrepresent and distort truths to misguide the unwitting to do what Huthunic commands. They delight in tormenting individual insecurities until the weaknesses fester and ultimately corrupt the victim's soul. Temples: Temples to Huthunic are never openly advertised. They are unassuming buildings whose purpose and design is unclear until one is well inside the structure. Temples of the Accursed One are normally found in large towns and cities, for smaller settlements will often limit in the scope of their work that can be accomplished by Huthunic's priests.
