I haven't done this yet. I was thinking of going over the spell lists to find sutiable spell for dispelling extra-planar energy...Not to mention eyes that fit the bill.

That was, quite possibly, the funniest tank battle we ever did.

And there you go! Dave did the exact same thing when we visited Blackmoor, and Phil did the exact same thing when we had tourists arrive in Tekumel.

Default And in the latest hot news from hereabouts...

Mike Burns has started his latest Indiegogo, for the Sons of Anubis:

    https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/t...ubis-fantasy#/

I have picked up my fourth 30" x 60" table with folding legs; I can now run any of my games entirely with in-house resources.

I have taken delivery of a video studio's equipment rack, donated to the cause by a friend, and will shortly be able to offer DVDs and YouTube videos in the style to which we'd like to become accustomed.

My world, at least, has dramatically changed...

EDIT: Did I mention that the new rack has a phone interface, just like radio shows do for those 'call-in' shows?

Sure, you can do it that way. But I have a use for 1 HD creatures that are kind of intelligent (at least enough to fight in formation) and are immune to both the SLEEP spell and clerical undead turning.

And of course, then you have the player characters wondering "What the heck is up with these funky can't-be-turned skeletons in remnants of exotic looking armor?"

    Heh heh heh...
I don't care if you respect me, just buy my fucking book.

Which maybe why I have something like forty figures of undead / Mr'ur from various companies, as it give me the chance to exhaust characters with sheer numbers. They won't do a lot of damage, and won't take a lot to kill, but there's so many of them. And, of course, me being me I just happen to have a few nice higher-level undead and various clerics of Sarku and Durritlamish mixed in with the horde. Being the sporting type, I also have some clerics of Belkhanu and Qon, as well as their temple guards, for those epic fights in the big rooms where everybody mixes it up with everybody else. Hardly enough left for raw materials for the life vats over at the Temple of Ksarul, usually...

I love my job. I really do. And all those Qol, too!!!

The real challenge to me is to get the idea of formation and tactics across to gamers who have never been exposed to it, without either leading them by the hand, or wiping them out.

Hmmm... Throw a Jajqi in with the Mrur, and if the Jajqi is destroyed, the Mrur lose the ability to fight in an organized manner. Hmmm.....
