Printing Models

Once you are satisfied with the color scheme you chose for the loaded model, you can opt to print it or save it to disk as a Windows BMP image.

Some pages may actually only display in the editing preview as a single part or a small portion of the page with grouped parts. These pages can be tiled during printing so that the printed page contains multiples of the same part.

If you encounter problems while attempting to print tiled pages, the H or V Custom Margins fields can be edited to force proper tiling. A good starting value for both the H and V custom margins is 0.25 inches or 6.35mm. The custom margins essentially shrink or expand the print area by the input values, which usually cures any overtiling or undertiling issues.

To shrink the print area along either the horizontal or vertical dimensions, enter positive values in the custom margin fields. To expand it, enter negative values.
