The Role: Are you up for the challenge?

At StellarAlgo, we’re expanding and looking for a SaaS Ops Developer to join our talented and results oriented team. What do we mean by results oriented? You'll work closely with clients to understand not only what they want but what they need and help them solve some big and interesting problems. StellarAlgo is a software-as-a-service product company and you will be building out this exciting new product.

As an engineer on this team, you'll spend most of your time building out our automation and monitoring pipeline, taking our existing AWS infrastructure and adopting the latest technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test our cloud architecture as part of our engineering team
• Install, deploy, configure, test, monitor and maintain our cloud server infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and analyze server and network problems
• Assist with scaling / capacity planning
• Author and maintain relevant documentation for the engineering team
• Contribute to and enhance security policies and procedures for our SaaS infrastructure
• Learn and adapt from peer review of your work
• Member of on-call support team for SaaS infrastructure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of performing a Systems Administrator role or equivalent
• Preference given to those who have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent certificate program
• Experience with cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with incident response, management and on-call situations
• Working knowledge of scripting within Linux and Windows environments (python, bash, or PowerShell)
• Understand containerization and deployment across systems with Docker & Linux
• Integrated with external third-party systems/platforms via API’s
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
• Strong communication skills to contribute working in a team environment with both technical and non-technical audiences
• (bonus) Experience with relational and non-relational databases – MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• (bonus) Experience performance tuning & optimizing large volume datasets for web-based applications
• (bonus) AWS engineering certifications
